THE HOPE PROJECT
Kids With a Hope Ministries in
Santiago, Dominican Republic is excited to be partnering with Trash
Mountain Project to develop the "Hope
Project." Trash Mountain Santiago is the third garbage dump
community location for the Trash Mountain Project, and God has given us
an incredible opportunity meets the spiritual, emotional, educational
and physical needs of children and families of Kids With a Hope.
The Kids with a Hope ministry, lead by Santiago native
Pastor Pablo Ureņa, is effectively sharing the love of Jesus Christ
with the children that have worked on the trash dump and live in the
community surrounding this dangerous area. Trash Mountain Project
is simply coming alongside of this amazing ministry to support and
assist them with access to many resources that will help Kids with a
Hope be successful.
The Hope Project has been a dream
that has developed into a four-phase plan to be carried out between our
two ministries and our partners. There is so much work to be
done, and our hope is that this plan will give us direction as we move
forward in building a Christ-focused community at Trash Mountain
Santiago.
